Actor, Prince James Uche who had been battling with diabetes, blindness, BP and kidney disease, died yesterday afternoon, March 8th at a private medical hospital in Festac town where he had been for two years.
Below are the tributes from his colleagues in the industry:
I’m short of words– Yul Edochie
My dear, you broke the news to me and that was quite shocking. Right now, I’m speechless, I can’t believe that Prince James Uche is gone. I have nothing else to say.
We never expected it- Ejiro Okurame
Prince James Uche, was not just a colleague but father. Few days before he died, he was experiencing fever, strange blood infection, and strange blisters on his legs. After he secured his Visa before he passed on Wednesday, March 8, in the Ambulance on his way for Dialysis at 2:15pm.
He was meant to travel this Saturday March 11th to India for his surgery. We sincerely want to thank everyone who donated to save this great man.
This is very sad– Shan George
The death of Prince James Uche is a very sad one. May his soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.
His death is a deep cut– Joseph Okechukwu (King Joe)
I just got the news that my brother and veteran Nollywood Actor, Prince James Uche is gone! I have no words to describe how I feel right now. I am one of the few people who worked with Prince on his first major Nollywood Film project. He was a great guy. Always full of positive energy and ready to dispense it.
Gosh! Nollywood has already lost too many gems in recent years but this one cuts deep. I take it very personal. My heart is crushed.
Rest in peace my brother and friend- Arinze Okonkwo
‎He was a kind man, I had shot two movies with him way back, friendly to all..so selfless.I pray God will comfort his family, and keep them strong in Jesus name. May his soul be at rest. Amen!
What a great loss–
Waoh! What a great loss, I’m short of words because a great vacuum has been left which no one can fill! Even billions of Sorry can never bring him back pls bear that’s all I can say, because God is the head of all knowledge! It’s well, I know that he is at rest now! Amen
