My dad conducted deliverance session for me after BBNaija – Debbie Rise

Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Oluwarise Deborah Ebun, better known by her stage name Debbie Rise, revealed that her dad, who is a preacher conducted a deliverance session after her return from the reality show.
Speaking with CHANNELS TV, Debie-Rise stated that her father didn’t approve of her involvement in the reality TV show, so she absconded from home to participate.
She said:
“So I do not think that because you grew up in church as the light of the world as the Bible says, you shouldn’t be out there to the larger world like on the screen – like Big Brother Naija
So long as you can find a way to truly inspire people, to impact lives and not lead people astray. However, in entertainment, it is almost impossible to not lead people astray that is where you have to draw the line.
She added :
“When my dad found out that I went for Big Brother, I had already ‘escaped’ from the house and I sent him a text. That was very mean of me. However, I had to assure him that people would congratulate him for being a good dad
“When I went for home coming, they still asked me to knee down and lay hands on me and deliver me.”
