Davido releases official statement concerning Tagbo Umeike’s death +plus

After drama filled days following the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike, Davido has released an official statement via his lawyers Norrison Quakers (SAN) affirming his innocence in the matter, and declaring reports that suggest otherwise as false.
The statement also says the Police Commissioner’s quote that Davido has a case to answer in the matter has caused him a lot of embarrassment.
Meanwhile, the singer has released video evidence on his Instagram handle that shows the two friends leaving the nightclub where they had been partying, separately.
In a series of Instagram posts, Davido published CCTV footage of the last moments he saw Tagbo.
The deceased seemed inebriated in the video and was seen being led towards another car while Davido got into his SUV and was driven away.
