Grow up! – Rapper, Ycee weighs in on dispute between Dammy Krane and Orezi over hairstyle

By Patricia Uyeh,
Nigerian rapper, Oludemilade Alejo, better known by his stage name Ycee, in a recent chat, weighed in on the dispute between singers, Dammy Krane and Orezi over who copied whose hairstyle.

For Ycee, they are both acting childish as there are more important things to be bothered about. He also added that when someone copied his own hairstyle, he didn’t complain so they should stop taking things too seriously.

Ycee,  in a chat with Hip TV, said:

“Someone copied my hairstyle, I don’t think there is anything original in the day and age. If it comes to hairstyle, there are are other things I have to worry about than who copied who’s hairstyle, it is really not that deep… trust me…

” It’s as simple as someone taking scissors and cutting your hair but when it comes to trend I understand how it feels when someone picks it up and starts getting more popularity than you the originator. As an innovator,i understand that imitation is the best form of flattery. The hair thing is just obscene, I mean, grow up”
