Musica mogul,  Sean Combs who often changes his moniker and has never been married has revealed, he was once engaged for about four hours, several year back.

He made this revelation on The Ellen Show while playing a game of “Never Have I Ever”.  The talk show host , Ellen Degeneres asked Diddy and fellow The Four stars Fergie, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and music exec Charlie Walk, if they’d ever been engaged and kept the news a secret from the public.

The music mogul, who was once known for his playboy way,  initially responded that he had never been engaged before, then told a story about a time when he popped the question but the engagement only lasted a few hours.

“I ain’t gonna lie, it was like for four hours. It was for four hours, I honestly did. I was engaged for four hours and I kept it a secret forever — until now,” the 48-year-old admitted.

Although that trip down the aisle never happened, Diddy isn’t against saying “I Do” someday–it just might not be anytime soon.

In June 2017, Combs told PEOPLE that the severity of marriage is the reason he hasn’t swapped vows with anyone but that doesn’t mean it’s off the table.

“I think marriage is so serious,” he said. “You’re making a commitment to somebody under [the] law. Unless you’re ready to do everything that’s said, then you shouldn’t get married. Life is a journey. So I have to get myself all the way together before I’m really ready for [marriage.] That, for me, is something very, very serious.”

He added: “One day, I hope that I find that within myself and that’ll I’ll be able to do it.”

The star is a father to six children, with exes Misa Hylton-Brim, Kim Porter and Sarah Chapman and publically been in a committed relationship with 31-year-old singer, Cassie, since 2012.
