Headwraps made by Nigeria’s Nnenna Stella makes it to Vogue Arabia cover

By Sewe Ishola,

Headwraps designed by Nigerian, Nnenna Stella has found its way to  the heads of supermodels Imaan Hammam and the legendary Iman as they grace the First Anniversary Issue of Vogue Arabia.

The namesake models look stunning on the cover, dressed in contrasting furs and headwraps.

What makes this cover extra special (besides the Imaan meeting Iman), is the fact that the headwraps on the Vogue cover were created by Nigeria’s own Nnenna Stella, The Wrap Life.

@thewraplife founder, @nnennastella, had the supreme pleasure of styling head wraps for @the_real_iman and @imaanhammam for the cover of @voguearabia! As wearing head wraps and headdress become more common, we are so excited to be of service in a way that shares black and brown beauty. The world needs more of it. Thank you to the team at Vogue for inviting us. What a dream. Dresses @ysl Makeup @porschefabulous Styling @michael_philouze Photo @patrickdemarchelier #thewraplife #headwraps

Celebrities like Issa Rae and Whoopi Goldberg have been seen donning the wraps, along with popular beauty and hair bloggers.

She recently styled supermodel, Iman for the Black Panther premiere in NYC.

Created by Nnenna Stella, The Wrap Life is a Brooklyn based business that strives to allow women to express themselves through head wraps. Using fabrics sourced from Ghana and Morocco, Stella says her wraps are for all women to wear.
