Preparations are in top gear as the paramount ruler of Oyo Kingdom, Iku Baba Yeye, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and his two queens,Oloori Memunat and Olaitan, are set to throw a shindig that would rock the ancient town.

Oba Adeyemi, whose young queens had a set of twin boys and girls over a month ago, has sent invites to friends and well-wishers for the soiree that would feature Fuji musician Pasuma Alabi, at the bandstand.

Already, ‘aso ebi’ have been distributed and the queens, who are in their 20s, have also gone on social media to invite more guests.
The monarch will be 80 years old by October 2018.
Photos of the newly born princes and princesses have gone viral on social media while congratulatory messages are still pouring in for the queens who were delivered of their babies one week apart.

Meanwhile, the two queens who are new mums are best friends and would always be seen together at any social functions with the King. They post their photos on social media and always refer to each other as best friends.

Taking to Instagram, Queen Memunat wrote, “Darlings and happy weekend.. Am using this medium to invite you all to my Princes and Princesses Dedication on the 22nd of April, 2018 just a week away.. You are all invited.. if you are interested in Asoebi call ‭0802 XXXXXX‬
P.S: it is strictly by Invitation or Asoebi..” (sic)
