Women looks we don’t like – Nigerian Celebrities Speak

There are certain dresses and looks that women adore, but unfortunately our men don’t appreciate or like them.
Instead, they compromisingly nod in approval to maintain peace and sanity in their homes or relationships.
Nigerian celebrities have voiced out what pisses them off in a woman’s dressing and offers better advice.

Fit is king- Yomi Casual, Fashion Designer

Fit is king! Know what fit your body and stick to it. I don’t have a problem with you revealing your cleavage and hot legs, just make sure the content is appealing. I don’t like women wearing what doesn’t fit their body types, it spoils the efforts.

Leggings not for every woman- Nani Boi, movie producer

I don’t like seeing a lady wearing what doesn’t go well with her body but because she sees other ladies wearing it, she jumps at it feeling cool.
Please, leggings are not for every woman, likewise sleeveless. They should take note.

Reserve some cleavage for imaginations – Chigozie Atuanya, Actor

I don’t like seeing women flashing too much of their vital body parts in the name of staying fashion relevant. You are addressed the way you dress.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t flaunt what you think you have, but it should be moderate. Reserve some cleavage for imaginations.

Too much makeup and unfit hairstyles- Agoha, gospel artiste

I love women who dress decently and look cool. I personally don’t like it if their makeup becomes too loud, it makes them look older. These women don’t know, they just want to join the trend and we have to allow them to avoid issues.
Bum-shorts too shouldn’t be worn to go out, like walking around the road. It should be indoor.
Then hairstyles, some women can carry weaves bigger than their heads or very unfit hairdo, yet they feel alright.
Women should know what to wear at a particular time. Like going to church, wearing clothes showing off boobs. It would only attract guys who want just your body. It doesn’t make sense. If you are well dressed and decent, good men would want to get close, to know you more and treat you right.

I don’t like women on loud makeup- Elder O, Comedian

I don’t like woman that wears too much make-up, waist beads and very long eye lashes. I also won’t allow my woman to put on transparent clothes when the goods are not properly censored under the clothes. Clothes that expose a larger part of the breasts are also a no no for me. ‘No woman go ever wear am follow me’. I know some might see me as oldschool but hey we still need to do things moderately, above all it’s a free world and people chose to dress the way they like for their personal reasons.

Only cheap women expose their cleavage- Edo Charles, Comedian

I don’t like when a woman’s dress is too exposed, leaving that part of her body that is meant to covered to shown to the world. For me it’s makes a woman cheap. God made women so expensive that he put man to sleep when creating them. Normally, a man can’t just afford women, they also beg for it, but these days its no more the case.
So when it’s exposed you are making God’s work very cheap.
