Singer, D’banj makes first social media appearance after son’s death

After several weeks of absence from social media, music superstar, D’banj, has returned to social media.
DBanj lost his 13-month-old son Daniel Jr in June, one month after the boy named Daniel celebrated his first birthday. This led to his keeping up with public appearance.
In a post to Instagram, the 38-year-old shared a gloomy photo of himself, revealing that the past few weeks have been a difficult one for his family.
He thanked his family, team and fans for their love and support.
“The past few weeks have been incredibly trying and difficult, but God’s love has kept me and my family going. I can’t thank my team enough and the incredible love from you all. May God keep us all. #StrongerTogether,” he wrote.
D’banj’s son, Daniel, drowned at the family’s home in Ikoyi, Lagos in June.
Though the singer was out of the country when the tragic incident occurred, his wife, Lineo, was reported to have been at home, with guests.
