Singer, Waje is in the news. She has been called out by Yvonne Imongan, her former personal assistant, who has just parted ways with the singer.

In reaction to a post by on Waje’s Instagram page on Thursday, where she was advising younger generation seeking success that struggle is real and not as glamorous as they think, Yvonne saw it as a shade on her and narrated her ordeal in a post on her Instagram page on Friday.

She accused the singer of neglect and lack of support while she was sick.

“I almost lost my life running errands for her. All I asked was time to study for my forthcoming exams and also in the midst also work for her. I wasn’t really about the pay. I fell ill in the process working and funny I didn’t get a lil support for my medical bills.

“Sometimes I come home late without eating and sometimes, I have to resume work without eating and it caused my ulcer to start again…

“PA’s are people’s children, not classified maids.

Yesterday, apparently in reaction to what may have transpired earlier in the between them, Waje wrote a post on Instagram advising young people seeking success that the struggle is real and not as glamorous as they think.

According to the singer, young people think it’s all about wearing makeup, smiling, and taking photos, but it requires hard work. “What’s your worth? The value you bring? Successful people grind!” she wrote.
