Fashion is art” – Bambam fires back at her AMVCA dress critic

Following the widespread mockery, which followed her appearance at the 2018 AMVCA, former Big Brother Naija housemate, BamBam has hit back at critics of her flurry dress.

Seemingly unperturbed by trolling, the 29-year old took to her Instagram page to post more feathery look and wrote; ‘Fashion is art’.
She described it as a ‘masterpiece.’

BamBam’s outfit to the event, caused a stir online as almost everybody had an opinion about it. While some loved the look, others felt it was an experiment gone wrong.

The actress wore a flamboyant green-feathered dress, which was designed by Houseofjahdara, to the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs), which held at Eko Hotels and Suites on Saturday.

Though BamBam’s outfit was unique, other celebrities that Houseofjahdara also designed for include ex-beauty queen, Munachi Abi; Singer, Waje, and actress, Eniola Badmus.

Bam Bam, whose outfit did more of the ‘trend’ job, wore minimal makeup, a few accessories, and finished with strappy gold sandals. Her hair was done in a ponytail which allowed her gold earrings take centre stage.

Fans have also been reacting saying she should stop pretending she was not affected by the backlash. “It’s not fine oooo!!!!.. I know you’re forming “i don’t care attitude” buh the truth still remains u look like a whole chicken in that thing?…if u like post it one million times it won’t change the fact that u looked stupid in that dress.” A fan wrote.
