Femi Kuti’s son, Omorinmade, is now a member of his father’s ‘Positive Force’ band.

His first port of call with the band, according to his father is a tour in Belgrade and Paris.

Femi shared this latest development on his Instagram page, where he wrote: “Omorinmade (my Son) “now a proud member of my band” and I leaving tonight with the positive force band to Belgrade to perform with the philamonic orchestra and Paris.”

Last week, Made posted a picture of himself performing alongside his father at the Afrikan Shrine on Thursday night, September 6.

The post had the caption: ”Another night of maximum energy at the shrine last Thursday! A great debut as an official positive force member! Don’t miss the show tomorrow – Sunday 08/09/18!”

Made Anikulapo-Kuti steps in as a replacement to Aghedo Andrew, a former member of the band and bassist who ran away minutes before the band was set to perform at the summer stage in New York, US in July.

Born September 26, 1996, Made is a product of the marriage between Femi and Funke.

He attended CTC primary school and Beehive school and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance in London.

Made started playing with his father when he was five years old at the opening of the Shrine.

He started touring with his father, Femi, when he was eight years old.

Made has toured Europe, Australia and Asia with his father, although he is yet to begin his solo journey in the Nigerian music industry.
