Feminist are not angry people – Writer, Chimamanda Adichie
Prolific writer, Chimamanda Adichie has reiterated that feminists are not angry people. According to her, it is the people that oppose feminism that are angry.
The famous Nigerian novelist, who is gender equality advocate, in a recent chat stated that feminism is about justice.
She said:
“Feminism just mean equality of opportunity. It doesn’t mean men are inferior. It doesn’t mean that women would become men.”
The renowned writer also spoke about her Hibiscus Trust Creative Writing Workshop, a workshop meant to encourage talents, bring young Nigerian writers together, and teach them to excel.
