How I impacted lives as Faceofbeautynigeria 2018 winner – Queen Bookie

January 21,2019
Share:

In 2018, this beautiful, brainy and bold student of University of Benin Ayobukunola Atamah popularly known as Bookie, emerged the reigning Queen of Faceofbeautynigeria.

Faceofbeautynigeria, is a prestigious online beauty pageant which focuses on empowering the girl child to become great in future.
In this brief interview with Allure Vanguard, Queen Ayobukunola Atamah speaks on her reign, achievements and what next for her as an outgoing winner of Faceofbeautynigeria.
Excerpts;

Can you tell us more about yourself?

I am Queen Ayobukunola Atamah popularly known as Bookie and I am the current Faceofbeautynigeria Queen 2018.
Are you also a student?
Yes, I’m a 300 level social work student of University of Benin. I’m also from Edo State. I am 18 years old.
Can you tell us about Faceofbeautynigeria Pageant?
I emerged Queen in Faceofbeautynigeria 2018 which was the first Edition.
Faceofbeautynigeria is an online pageant that focuses on empowering the girl child.
The Founder of Faceofbeautynigeria founded this great pageant brand and it remains an online pageant as opposed to live pageant to reduce the money girls have to spend in live pageants before they emerge Queen.
At Faceofbeautynigeria, there is no live auditions or live grand finale.
FOBN Entertainment believes every girl is a Queen and should be given a platform and under this platform, I Queen Bookie was Crowned after going through an online voting process.
How has it been for you as a Beauty Queen?
My reign has been smooth and successful. It was definitely a privilege being Faceofbeautynigeria Queen. Because it is one of the most prestigious pageants I have ever seen both online and live.

Unlike some other pageants that hardly keep to their promises, what was your experience like with this online pageant?

Every thing that was promised me before registration was given to me after I emerged Queen.
Faceofbeautynigeria has changed my life for the better and impacted me in so many ways and thanks to Faceofbeautynigeria, I’m able to also impact others positively.
What did you achieve during your tenure?
During my reign as Faceofbeautynigeria 2018 Queen, I engaged in some outreach to the orphanage and also to those around me.
However, I still hope to continue in charity works and continue empowering the girl child just as Faceofbeautynigeria is doing.
Your reign is almost over, how does that make you feel?
Handing over to the incoming Queens is something I wouldn’t want to do if I had a choice *laughs* but sadly I have to do it and welcome the new Queens with open arms.
Faceofbeautynigeria 2019 Voting will be concluded on the 30th of January and the new Queens will be crowned. I wish all the contestants success and i know they will have a good reign because FOBN Entertainment is the best Pageant to be under.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are singing, reading, socializing and having fun
