Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau graduates from EMU
Famous Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau has graduated from the Eastern Mediterranean University. Cyprus, after studying Human Resources Management at the School of Business and Finance.
On why she chose to go to travel 3833 kilometres from Nigeria to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to study at EMU, the 25-year-old stated, in an interview, that though she had applied to universities in Dubai and Florida, USA, she, however, preferred the university for being amongst the world’s best universities on the rankings and its calm and nice atmosphere.
“I had my worries during the selection process because there were many possible distractions as a result of my profession at the locations of these universities. It wouldn’t be very logical for me to study in Florida or Dubai. At that point, I was searching the internet and came across EMU. After receiving information about the island and TRNC I saw that it had a very calm and nice atmosphere. Once I realized that EMU is placed amongst the world’s best universities on the rankings I applied immediately”.
Rahama was the winner of Best Actress (Kannywood) at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2014 and 2015.
