What your nails says about your health
One part of the body that needs utmost care are the nails. There are things the nails could be saying about your health, they include:
White nails
White nails are often accompanied with darker rims or dark finger tips. When this happens, it could be your body’s way of notifying you of liver troubles like Hepatitis and Jaundice. It could also signal fungal nail infection, heart disease, or anemia.
Yellow nails
Yellow nails are usually caused by a fungal infection. The infection could make the nail bed retract, and the nails may thicken and finally crumble. However, this can be treated by applying essential oils, using topical creams, or taking anti-fungal tablets.
Curved nails
Curved nails doesn’t just happen. They build up over time and is often caused by hypoxia, i.e., the lack of oxygen. It could be the body’s way of notifying you of the presence of irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease, cardiovascular issues, etc.
White stripped lines on nails
White stripes on your nails is not a sign of calcium deficiency. Those white stripped lines are usually indicators proving that your diet lacks the right amount of protein.
