The lips are one part of the body that need utmost care. It allows one wear a smile which is very important. It gets exposed to different temperatures and weather and sometimes is least cared for.
Some ladies cover unhealthy lips with lipstick. This is not good enough. Here is how to take of your lips:
1. Exfoliate
When you discover dead skin on your lips, and exfoliate. This draws blood to the lips, making them fuller. You can mix honey and sugar to exfoliate your lips or use a toothbrush with soft bristles to scrub off dead skin on your lips lightly.
2. Rub moisturising balm
Don’t use lip balms with menthol or alcohol. They are a harsh and dry off the lips. Make your own lip balm with shea butter with coconut oil.
3. Drink water and practise good habits
Always hydrate your body with water. Water flushes toxins and rejuvenates the skin. Don’t smoke and avoid tobacco which darkens the lips.
