Yoruba movie comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, is back in Nigeria, after undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the US.

This cheering news was made known by Yoruba actor and movie producer, Yomi Fabiyi in a statement on Instagram on Wednesday.

According to Yomi, Baba Suwe will continue his final recovery at home. He thanked all those who played a vital role in Baba Suwe’s trip to the US for treatment.

He wrote: “Baba Suwe leaves Hospital in Rhode Island, United States of America and now back in Nigeria.

“He will continue his final recovery at home. Without going into individual details, on behalf of Baba Suwe and his family, I want to thank everyone for playing a vital role. Hopefully, his health restores to full capacity in no distance time, so as to enable him to return to the screen. With tears of joy and gratitude, he sends his sincere heartfelt appreciation to you all (Wish I can post this, his mouth is not good there ???). This update should be the near-final public information I will be supplying on this matter. I must thank you all (Nollywood Artists, fans and well-wishers especially) for trusting me to give you required updates on this, much valued.

“I shall lose no time to supply any further or additional vital information if and when needed in the future.

“Baba Suwe Survived! He made it and near 100% recovery. Thank you, God, Thank you Nigeria, Thank you Nigerians. Return of Adimeru loading by his grace. Continue to pray and support him.”

Recall that the 60-year-old actor, accompanied by his son Sola, left for the US to complete his medical treatment.
