Shina Peller’s GM splashes N20m on new fashion store

Industrious and passionate, Bolaji Serah, who handles the business affairs of Quilox boss, Shina Peller as a General Manager of Aquila record label has added another feather to her cap of achievements.

Ms Serah who is fondly called Babylove by her music associates recently launched an exotic boutique which is aimed at clothing celebrities who are fashion lovers as well as clients that crave to look good.
Shedding more lights on what prompted such a huge move into the fashion industry, Babylove noted it has been her long time dreams to delve in fashion and styling business.

“As the General manager of Aquila Records, I’ve worked with a whole lots of artists like 9ice,Burna boy, small doctor, Que Peller, and more.
However, I have been into fashion for a while, I started by doing this online stuff. I was formerly called Queensland on Instagram. That’s where it all started. I started doing online, buy stuff for artists online and sell online. I styled 9ice very well. I have also been working with Shina Peller for a very long time and he’s been source of inspiration. He tells me to stand up for myself and do things for myself. So when I wanted to start the main store this particular House of Drip, I didn’t have enough money to start with because I was dreaming very big for a perfect store, that would contain a whole lots of stuff,” she said.

Giving a hint on the net worth of the boutique, the Osun state born stylist cum entrepreneur revealed that the project gulped over N50m for a start.

“I can’t say, but I can boldly say I’ve spent close to 20 million naira so far on goods and other stuffs that we did. I have one shoe that I got from Europe, I think it’s about N178,400. We’ve lots of goods. One thing I did is I got goods from China, Turkey, Europe and US because I want to have market for everybody. You know this area is more like a student area with lots of students and schools. It is quite close to Unilag and Yabatech too, so I have a kind of market, when a student don’t have enough money and wants to look good, I say come to this side of the store you will have things available for your price. But if I have people working class and higher grade that want to real original quality wears, I have their own section also.
“There is no how you can come in to House Drip and not have something that cuts across everywhere.”

Speaking further on the artists she would love to style in the music industry, the GM of Aquila record label stated that she would like to style the likes of Kizz Daniels, Tiwa Savage, et el.

“I’m working on styling Kizz Daniel and many of them. We are in the industry. I just want to try and get myself together and start styling so many artists. But my Aquila artistes wears; everything from head to toe is going to be from House of Drip. I would love to style Wizkid, David and maybe Tiwa Savage. I didn’t really divert into wears for ladies that much because we have a lot of artists and they are guys. That’s why I don’t really have enough stuff for ladies but we still have some stuffs for models.”
