What do you think of single mothers? American singer, Ciara is unashamed of her decision to be a single mom. According to her, at some point she was scared at first, but ultimately happy she made the right decision.

She said:

“I grew up with my mom and dad being together. The idea of it being mommy and daddy that made baby,”

“Also, you’re living your life in front of the world, so that adds a whole ‘nother layer. I feel like I’m failing right now, they gon’ roast me.”

She acknowledged her parents for teaching her what true love is.

The ‘Level Up’ crooner said:

“I had to take a couple of times to figure it out, but my dad’s love is what saved me in all my situations, because it would get to a point where I was like, my dad wouldn’t do this to my mom. This just can’t be love,” .

“I’ve always had the same goal of wanting to be loved a certain way, but I was just walking in the wrong direction.”

Speaking of her past relationship, Ciara expressed gratitude to Wilson for accepting her for who she is and loving her the way she always wanted others to.

Ciara said:

“Me and my husband look at each other and I’m a better woman because of him and he says he’s a better man because of me,”

“You need those roller-coaster rides. I believe in my journey happening in front of the world for a reason.”
