Adora Oleh: Fashion Aesthetics of the British-Nigerian chic

In a recent interview she said her fashion have always been on a different level. Now she wants her ensemble to translate her travel experience.

She calls her day time fashion aesthetic British-Nigerian chic, a look that is tailored, custom and also very cool, your not trying too hard but you’ve made the point that you didn’t come to play as far as fashion is concerned.

To transform a day look to fit for a night out, the model who has been on many runways in Paris and New York in recent times said,

“I layer like a pro. Sometimes you just have to add (or remove) a layer from your workday look to take it into the night. If I need to dress up my outfit for a night out, I will wear a fitted dress with a blazer during the day and remove the blazer for my after-work affair. I will add a strong bold red lipstick, which I have been obsessed with my whole life, to make it more glamorous and I am good to go.”

“I also like swapping out accessories, during the day (if I have meetings) I’ll run around in pointed-toe heels and in the evening swap them for a strappier pair, or a bold statement kind of boot.”

I’d also trade my everyday crystal studs for a strong statement ear ring, (I’m very into the drop ear rings right now) If I bring a tote to the office in the day, I’ll throw my favourite clutch in there too, ready for the evening.”

The British born Nigeria came to her motherland to establish her talk show but got the attention of MTN project fame music talent show and became a sensation.
