Nollywood actress, Lota Chukwu clocks 30!

Nollywood actress, Lotachuckwu Obianuju Amelia, popularly known as Lota Chukwu is a year older today.

Born on November 29, 1989, Lota clocks 30.

She took to her Instagram page post some pictures and celebrate her achievements so far.

She wrote: “Another 365 around the sun, another year of working my ass off, another year of being awesome. We did that damn thing. Thank you all for your support ❤.”

Lota spent her childhood and teenage years in Benin, where she attended primary and secondary school. While in secondary school, she realised she wanted to be an actress. That, however, did not materialise until after she received an Agricultural Economics and Extension Services degree from the University of Benin. She later enrolled at the Royal Arts Academy, where she made her first steps towards becoming an excellent actress.

The first movie Lota starred in was titled “Studio 113.” Since then she started pursuing and developing her career in multiple award-winning films, such as “The Perfect Plan”, “Fine Girl”, “Iyore”, “Spotlight”, “Wind Chasers”, and “The Arbitration”. Lota has been a regular face in the Funke Akindele comedy series, where she stars as Kiki. The programme really brought her fame.
