When Burna Boy started out in 2012, it seems no one paid him attention.

He constantly complained for not getting  deserved recognition for his craft.

According to him, the few fans he had were all that mattered.

On the 26th of July 2019, Burna Boy released his fourth studio album and titled it  “AFRICAN GIANT “.

Since the release of that album, people began to refer to him as the African Giant and his won several awards both home and international awards.

To cap it all, he just got nominated in the 62nd Grammy Awards for his album ‘African Giant’ in the Best World Music Album category.

With this nomination he has joined the likes of Sunny Ade, Seun Kuti, Babatunde Olatunji, and co as Nigerians whose effort have been recognized globally in the Grammy.

What others call you doesn’t matter except you accept it.

This simply goes to say that, the image you have of yourself matters greatly as you become what you call yourself.

When you’ve found out who you truly are, don’t get distracted by noise around.

Work out everyday towards the actualization of that which you have great conviction for.

Distractions that seem better might come, know that your uniqueness is your selling point.

Sticking to it is like planting a seed which will eventually bear fruits.

One of achieving great things is by speaking it into existence and putting in the amount of work required.
