Dear woman : Remember who you are

January 25,2020

It’s worthy to know that 70 percent of successful women who are single are usually pressured to get married but always remember who you are while making that vital decision.

Who you settle down with or marry goes a long way to determine your achievement and growth.

Remember who you are

Always remember who you are and look for a partner to compliments your personality.

After graduation and serving the country, Ngozi got a decent job with a good pay.

She can’t pass a certain area without having heads turn in admiration of her beauty, clothing or hair.

At her place of work, she’s always on one promotion or the other.

She’s simply outstanding and a smart working lady.

After 3 years of working tirelessly, her family members began to pressure her to bring a man home.

Some went as far as arranging a spouse for her and saying all sort of things to her.

What’s the point of having all this things without a man to settle with.

“The glory of a woman won’t be complete until she’s married to a man and have kids.”

“The highest achievement you need Ngozi is a man to call your own.”

It wasn’t long enough Ngozi became depressed, sad and desperate.

She wanted any man to just come save her from the lashing tongues.

Finally she settled for Emeka, a business man with so much money.

He stopped her from working and she became a full time housewife with the only duty of taking care of her babies(husband included).

She had all a woman ever asked but some how she finds herself depressed.

She became grumpy and constantly feels unfulfilled and angry for no reason.

It’s not surprising at all as she traded something that makes her really happy for something the society and family think is best to her.

In her rush to escape the wagging tongues, she didn’t ask the right questions or seek compatibility before choosing a spouse.

Many women are like Ngozi, in their desperation to settle down, they simply marry the one person whose life principles seems to be in parallel line with theirs.

This will only keep them unhappy, unfulfilled and bitter.

No matter how ugly things seems, always remember who you are and be selfish in your choosing.

There is a man out there that will compliment you perfectly.

Wait for him.
