The daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola is to star in Kunle Afolanya’s new movie titles Citation.

Citation would premier in cinemas nation wide later this year.

It will be the seventh film directed and produced by renowned filmmaker Kunle Afolanya.

Temi 23, is a fashion and travel blogger and owns JTO Fashion, a multimedia platform.

She expresses her adventures through the arenas of fashion, beauty, art, and travel through this platform.

The billionaire heiress will be among  world class actors who would feature in this cinematic masterpiece and she’s very happy about it.

To share the news of her movie debut, Temi took to Instagram to show her excitement.

She captioned one of the post ;

“words cannot explain how excited I am to finally announce that I will be starring in ‘Citation’, legendary filmmaker Kunle Afolanya’s next feature film. Humbled to be shooting  alongside legends of film in my onscreen debut. #Citation

In a statement she made in a video release,

Temi said she jumped at the offer because the story was very relevant and the character within her age range.

The Citation’ is a university drama surrounding a female postgraduate student.

who has to find a way of dealing with the awkward situation of sexual harassment from a popular male lecturer.

It will be shot in Nigeria, Senegal and Cape Verde where Afolayan had sealed production deals ahead of a proposed January 2020 shoot.

According to Kunle  ‘The Citation,’ apart from its thematic premise, will attempt to market Cape Verde to Nigerians and the rest of the world.
