Grooming best beard style for your face shape

Look around, there’s a fair chance you know someone who is bearded. There’s no doubt about it: a beard gives you character. But it’s important to choose the style that best suits your face shape.

Grooming best beard style for your face

Finding the best beard style for your face shape can be daunting. Once you get it, maintaining your awesome look through proper beard grooming is very important.

To make all grooming decisions, it’s important to know your face shape. Not all styles suit all shapes.

OVAL FACE: With an oval face, you can get away with a variety of beard styles that other men can’t. You don’t really need to balance anything out. All you need to focus on is keeping your beard looking its best.

RECTANGULAR FACE: This is a longer face shape, having fuller cheeks with a beard will give the impression of a slightly wider jaw, ensuring the attention is taken away from the length of the face altogether.

ROUND FACE: One with a round face can opt for a beard that is shorter on the cheeks and longer towards the chin for a look that’s truly flattering.

HEART- SHAPED: Heart-shaped face is smaller, so a beard will only make the face appear smaller. Growing a beard for such a man entails leaving more length in the chin and moustache, to add depth and volume to the jawline.

SQUARE FACE: A square face-shaped man shouldn’t groom a beard that is going to over-exaggerate what they already have – a strong jaw.

To complement this face shape, you need to ensure that the chin area is rounded or triangular.

Lengthening the chin with a goatee-style beard helps softens thick, wide jawbones, while still creating a chiseled look. This will also focus the eye on other features of the face, giving those bright blues a chance to shine.

Diamond Shape:The goal of the diamond face is to keep the hair on the chin to offset the cheekbones. However, don’t go too long on the chin. Anything too pointy tends to accentuate this face shape. Instead, go wider on the cheeks and wider on the edge of the jawbone, so it squares off the bottom half of your face.

Finding the best beard style for your face shape can be daunting. Once you get it, maintaining your awesome look through proper beard grooming is very important.
