Amber Heard ‘admits to hitting’ Johnny Depp with pots, pans

US actress,  Amber Heard, has reportedly admitted to physically abusing Johnny Depp, her ex-husband, by beating him with pots, pans and vases.

Heard had filed for divorce from Depp in 2016, stating that he had been verbally and physically abusive throughout their relationship, usually while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Depp’s lawyers alleged that Heard was attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse, with the US singer later suing Heard for defamation over a newspaper editorial.

However, a leaked tape reportedly being from one of Heard’s 2015 conversations is now viral, where the actress appeared to have admitted that she hit Depp, hurling pots, pans, and vases at him.

According to DailyMail, the then-estranged couple had tried to talk through their marriage problems and Heard opens up about her “violent tantrums” in a series of taped conversations.

“I’m sorry that I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap. But I was hitting you, it was not punching you. Babe, you’re not punched,” Heard can be heard telling Depp in one of the audios.

“I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine, I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you. You are such a baby. Grow the f**k up Johnny.

“You poke an animal enough, it is eventually, it doesn’t matter how friendly it is, it’s not cool. I can’t promise I won’t get physical again, I get so mad that I lose it.”

Heard is an ambassador for women’s rights acclaimed to be an outspoken domestic violence advocate. She had met Depp in 2011 during one of her filming sessions for ‘The Rum Diary’.

In 2019, Depp had accused her of severing one of his fingers, just one month after they were married, by throwing a bottle which exploded and ripped off the tip of his finger in the process.
