Davido, Afropop singer, and Tems, an R&B vocalist, have joined Khalid Robinson, a US songwriter, for the remix of ‘Know Your Worth’, his 2020 hit song.

The first version of the track was put out in February featuring Disclosure, an electronic music band. But Khalid would later enlist the Nigerian duo in a remix released on Wednesday.

‘Know Your Worth’ remix spans Afrobeats and dancehall and sees the trio croon about a lover who they go ahead to advise against continuing a relationship where their partner undervalues them.

“You don’t know your worth. All the things I know you deserve. Say it’s not real if it doesn’t hurt. Find someone you know will put you first, someone who loves you at your worst,” they sing.

The project comes as Davido continues to team up with a league of renowned foreign artistes and indigenous ones alike towards broadening his influence in the global entertainment scene.

For, Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, joining the award-winning Afropop sensation for Khalid’s new song comes as another stride after her 2019 releases including ‘Looku Looku’ and ‘Try Me’.

Khalid had been on a roll after his debut ‘Location’ peaked at number 16 on the US Billboard chart and got certified for quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Signed to Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records, the American artiste has achieved several top 10 hits, a top-ten charting EP, a number one album, and six Grammy nominations so far.
