No Presidential broadcast was planned – Femi Adesina
Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity,Femi Adesina has debunked claim of the President addressing the nation today 18th May 2020.
The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu, disclosed on Channels TV on Sunday that the president will hold a nationwide broadcast as the first phase of the ease of lockdown comes to an end.
In a tweet shared this afternoon, Femi disclosed that no broadcast was planned.
However the task force in charge of the covid-19 will brief the nation at its usual time.
His tweet reads;
”No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today.
None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps.”
