Sinach becomes first African to top billboard for Christian song writer
Nigeria gospel artist Osinachi okoro popularly known by her stage name ‘Sinach’ has become the first African to top the billboard USA for Christian song writer Chart.
Excited Sinach took to Twitter to celebrate and announce the feat of being the first Nigerian and African to top the chart for 7 weeks.
Posting a photo of the chat ranking, she tweeted ;
So apparently We have been No 1 on billboard USA for Christian song writer for 7 weeks !!
Look at God!! First Black person. First from Africa …

Her song way maker was first released in 2016 and suddenly went up the chart with so many persons playing it online.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced artist and performers to stick to online performance and that made Maker find its way to the billboard.
