David Adeleke, Davido, has unfollowed everyone on Instagram, including Chioma Avril Rowland, his fiancée; his crew and friends.

The award-winning songwriter took the action, which comes as a surprise to his numerous fans, on Wednesday.

Checks on his Instagram page by the TheCable Lifestyle showed that he is not following anyone as of the time this report was filed even though he has over 17 million followers.

It remains unclear why he took the decision.

Many of his fans, however, believe the ‘OBO’ crooner’s action may not be unconnected to his recent announcement that he would “adjust” the way he had been living his life.

In a post shared on June 3, the singer said he has always put people first, adding that he needed to do some “cleansing.”

“If you can’t reach me, don’t reach me! I’ll contact you. All my life, I have put people before me…I think it’s time to actually live my life and take care of myself. I have changed my number! I needed some cleansing to do. Love you all,” he had written.

The development also comes amid rumoured rift between him and his lover  a claim Chioma denied.

The lovebirds have continued to make headlines with their love story since Davido met Chioma while he was studying economics at Babcock University.

He had in April taken to social media to pen a lovely message for his wife-to-be as she clocked 25.
