Book Publisher who is also a longtime book promoter Tolulope Arogundade, in a recent interview has disclose his motivation to becoming a Publisher.

Tolulope Arogundade

According to him, his passion was ignited after a four month suspension from secondary school.

“I was inspired to have a club after an unexpected event happened while in high school, I was suspended from school for four months.

During that period was when I discovered my passion for information sharing what I have read in a book”

Tolulope who have published over 100 books alongside his team has travelled to different institutions both in Africa and America to meet with different authors to discuss on how to publish, promote, and become a successful author and publisher.

While discussing his transition Author to a known Publisher, Tolulope added that an author can switch to become a successful publisher if he fails as an author

He therefore call on all upcoming authors to build audience, separating themselves from personal interest and focus on what their audience wants to read.

“know what your readers want, not what the you feel like writing before publishing a book”. He said

He also reveals that, Upcoming authors need to start building audience before they think of publishing a book in other to penetrate the market and at the same time sustain the interest of readers.

Nonetheless, he urged all parents to encourage their kids to read as the future relies on those who reads to get information.

“If your kids see you reading, they will imitate you by reading”. He added.
