Sharon Takim is face of Zikel International 2020

SHARON TAKIM has emerged winner of this year’s Face of Zikel Beauty contest, carting home a cash prize of 1 million naira, a trip to Dubai and a year supply of Zikel cosmetics.
Sharon beat about 19 other contestants to emerge winner of the coveted contest held last Saturday at the Event Place Lekki Lagos.
Organised by Zikel Cosmetics International, a leading cosmetic brand, the event which is the 2nd edition was an opportunity for aspiring models to achieve their dream as it was not a winner takes it all event.
It awarded 12 other queens with different portfolio as face of Zikel Tourism, Universe amongst others; they were as well named brand ambassadors for the firm in the year 2021.
Speaking on the sole objective of the event, CEO of the firm, Mr. Kelvin Chinedu Ezike said the idea is to empower young women with interest in the beauty industry. “For me, it is about changing the narrative by engaging young girls to be self-reliance, while also erasing the negative perception pageantry.” he said.
He noted that the girls were selected based on their intelligence, confidence and charisma.
