It is true that we should show love and appreciation all year-round, but there is something so fun and romantic about Valentine’s Day and the romantic gifts that accompany the special day.

When it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day, it’s important to make the day extra-special for your loved one. There is the traditional exchange of Valentine’s Day gifts, of course, but for this year, why not do something a little more creative and one-of-a-kind? 

There are many romantic indoor and outdoor date options to  choose from to impress your partner in spite of the pandemic that will guarantee a night of romance.

Take a Relaxing Bath

Turn on the warm water, add in your favourite essential oil or bath bubbles and forget about your troubles. Don’t forget the candles and music.

Surprise Lunch Date

This year’s Valentine falls on Sunday, however for those on essential duties, If possible, get away from work and meet her for lunch at her favourite restaurant. Such creative efforts sometimes mean more to your partner than expensive stuff.

Take Her On A Shopping Spree

If you didn’t have time to get her a gift before the 14th, surprise her with a trip to the mall or her favourite store. Let her know she has all the time she needs, be patient, and help her pick out some pieces that she’ll love and cherish forever.

Romantic  Night Out

For a romantic and glamorous night out, get dressed to the nines and take her to a very classy restaurant or hotel, for a sweet dinner date while you listen to some classical music and relive your first date. Plus, it’s a great opportunity for a proposal if you’re at that point in your relationship.

Indoor Movie Experience

With the Covid 19 pandemic restricting our movie nights out, take movie night to the next level by creating your own personal cinema. If you can, rent a projector to watch movies on a blank white wall or a big screen. Grab her favourite treats and drinks to have alongside a nice big bowl of freshly popped corn. Turn on your favourite movie and enjoy it together, cuddled on the couch. It’s the perfect way to get in the mood for some Valentine’s romance.

Spend The Night In A Fancy Hotel Room 

Make your Valentine’s Day special by checking into a local hotel, changing into a plush bathrobe and dialing up some room service. Enjoy the night with your partner and definitely order breakfast in bed the next morning.

Breakfast  In Bed

Start the day off right by serving up a romantic Valentine’s Day breakfast, then enjoying it together while lounging in bed. Try heart-shaped pancakes, eggs, and fruit salad accompanied by some sweet hot chocolate. Serve the meal on a bed tray and include a small vase of flowers to complete the look.
