As we ease back into getting dressed against all odds once again, it’s advisable to slip into the basics.

Minimalism doesn’t have to be boring —it’s all about purchasing classic items and elevated basics that will never go out of style. From the timeless crisp white shirt to the everyday little black dress that transitions, find here a list of pieces to get you started as you work at rebuilding your wardrobe.

  1. A White Button-down
Simple but yet chic, a white button-down can serve you in a million different ways. Wear it with jeans, tailored trousers, or pair with a blazer.
  2. A Black Blazer
A black blazer can serve as a base for all kinds of chic outfits.
  3. A Black Turtleneck
Wear on its own with some black trousers or layer a classic blazer on top.
  4. A Pair of Tailored Trousers
They aren’t great just for the boardroom. Dress them down with casual tops; give them a more casual feel by styling with loafers and t-shirt.
  5. A Slip Dress
A black slip dress will take you from day to night with ease. Dress it up with a pair of strappy sandals for a night out or wear a blazer on top and add a pair of open toe pump for a daytime look.
  6. A Classic Loafer
This is one piece worth every penny; it never goes out of style.
  7. Blue Jeans
Investing in a pair of blue jeans that fits perfectly is the wisest move for every girl.
  8. An Everyday Bag
A sleek black everyday bag devoid of flashy logos and hardwares is a must.
  9. Gold Jewelry
Give your minimalist wardrobe a little bit of shine by adding some simple gold pieces.
