Tiwa Savage & Davido bag nominations at the NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding International Song
Congratulations to Tiwa Savage & Davido. The Nigerian singers made it to the nomination list at the NAACP Image Awards in the music category.
The NAACP Image Awards honours the accomplishments of people of colour in the fields of television, music, literature, and film and also recognizes individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavours.
Tiwa Savage scored a nomination in Outstanding International Song category with the song “Temptation” featuring Sam Smith, off her recent album “Celia”. Davido scored a nomination with the single “Tanana” featuring Tiwa Savage, off 2020 album “A Better Time”.
Also on the nomination list for OutstandingInternational Song category nominees are Buju Banton and Koffee.
Other Nigerians featured in the nomination list are Yvonne Orji, for her role is HBO series “Insecure” and comedy special “Yvonne Orji: Momma I Made It!”, Nnamdi Asomugha, and Folake Olowofoyeku.
The winners will be announced on Saturday, March 27.
