DJ Cuppy officially pardons Davido’s aide, Isreal Afeare
DJ Cuppy has decided not to proceed with defamation lawsuit against.Isreal Afeare, an aide to singer, Davido.
The daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola made this known in a tweet on Friday.
According to her, this action was taken following the public apology tendered by Isreal.
She also added that she has instructed her lawyers accordingly.
Cuppy then warned social media users to learn from this incidence, and ensure that the have valid facts before they speak on matters.
“Following the public apology of Isreal Afeare, I have decided to no longer proceed with the lawsuit and have instructed my lawyers accordingly.
As social media users, I hope we can all learn from this, and ensure that we have valid facts before we speak on matters. 💕”
Isreal Afeare personal logistic manager,
accused her of not paying singer, Zlatan Ibile after she worked with him, an allegation that Cuppy refuted saying:
“For the record… There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation!”
