Nkiru Olumide-Ojo lists addictions every working girl must be wary of
Development speaker and author Nkiru Olumide-Ojo has shared types of addiction every working girl must be wary of.
In a post on Instagram, she listed three types including destination addiction, applause addiction and approval addiction.
Here is her explanatory note to working girls on the three points.
“Dear Working Girl,
Here are 3 types of addiction to be wary of:
1) Destination Addiction – “I’d be happy when I get ‘there'”…when i make partner, start my own business, find that life partner etc
.
2) The applause addiction – “if i wasn’t applauded then the achievement isn’t valid” …remember sportsmen are increasingly performing to empty stadiums
.
3) The approval addiction…be clear of whose nod you need to get going with that goal ( and maybe you don’t even need anyone’s nod).”
