Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’ becomes Certified Gold in US
Burna Boy has accomplished yet another excellent international achievement, as his single “Ye” became the fastest Nigerian song to be certified ‘Gold’ by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).
The track is the latest in a long line of Nigerian songs to be certified Gold in the United States. Davido’s ‘If’ and ‘Fall,’ as well as Wizkid’s ‘Come Closer,’ have all previously accomplished the huge feat.
Sharing the news on his Instagram page, Burna Boy wrote: ““YE” off the OUTSIDE album is Gold in 🇺🇸. I’m thankful for the love and support, we go again!”
