Suspects in the assassination of Ortom’s AiG, Chris Dega, in Jos have been apprehended
The Nigerian Police Force has announced that some suspects in the gruesome assassination of Christopher Dega, a senior special assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom, have been arrested.
“On 31/05/2021 at about 2030hrs, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd) was shot dead by three yet to be identified gunmen in an isolated restaurant at Bukuru, Jos.”
The statement added that the late AIG arrived Jos from Makurdi on the same date at about 1930hrs, and investigation has so far revealed that he was trailed and shot. Some suspects have been arrested. Meanwhile, the investigation is ongoing.”
