We don’t have leaders, but Tyrants in government – Mr Macaroni laments
Popular Nigerian comedian, Debo Adebayo AkA Mr. Macaroni is also known for his outspokenness, since the EndSars protest era that got him arrested and brutally beaten by the Nigerian police.
Mr. Debo has joined his colleague, Rita Dominic to react to the current state of insecurity in the country.
In a tweet, the comedian blasted Nigerian leaders, stating that they have failed woefully in protecting the lives of citizens.
He wrote: ”The Nigerian Government has failed woefully in protecting the lives of the people. As irresponsible as they are, they use the Same Police responsible for the safety of Nigerians to oppress Nigerians. We don’t have Leaders. We have Tyrants in government!!!”
His tweet came shortly after Rita Dominic wrote, ”I am afraid that we are watching Nigeria slip into anarchy. It is surreal. Our elected officials need to work harder to douse the tension in the country. We need peace to reign. Harassing and killing innocent citizens can never solve anything.”
