The Tokyo Olympics in 2021 are already officially begun.
The opening ceremony of the Tokyo Summer Games started off on Friday, with the Parade of Nations and tennis prodigy Naomi Osaka igniting the Olympic torch.
Olympic fans have been waiting a long time for these events to begin. The games were originally slated for the summer of 2020 but were pushed back to 2021 because of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Speeches by the presidents of the Olympic Organizing Committee and the International Olympic Committee, as well as a variety of dance routines, honoured the long trip that everyone, including the athletes, had taken to be able to have the Olympics return.
