Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has reacted to the controversy trailing her romance with her newly wedded husband, Kazim Adeoti.
The newly wedded actress who tried calling in during TVC’s ‘Your View’ show this morning but could not reach one of the show’s anchors, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, went on to send a text.
In the message, she tried to clear the air on the controversy surrounding her infant marriage.
“I just want to clear the impression, Adekaz isn’t Lanre Gentry’s friend.”
Recall that after Mercy made her relationship with movie marketer Adekaz public on 23 January, her ex-husband Lanre Gentry who had since remarried, took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of him and Mercy as a married couple posing with Kazim Adeoti and his estranged wife, Funsho Adeoti.
“At last I thank God the truth is out this is just one out of many to God be the glory. I don’t need anyone’s comment please”, Lanre captioned the photo.
