FOOD TO BOOST YOUR SEX DRIVE THIS VALENTINE

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, what’s better than treating your spouse to a sumptuous meal that doesn’t only tinges your taste, but also, helps boost your sex libido.

Spouses usually cosy up to their lovebird for a romantic night in but, being in arousal state can be easier said than done. Some couples would normally resort to their medicine shelf for relief, to boost their sex drive, but this usually comes with serious side effects. There is a less costly and risky antidote to help spice up your sex libido and that’s FOOD!
Incorporate the following food into your special Valentine’s Day meal to help ruff the bed sheets, after all, it’s often said that the way to a man’s/woman’s heart is through his/her stomach. In case you’re planning a night of passion, include one if not all of the following foods.

  • Strawberries- High in vitamin that boosts sex drive and can also provide an “indirect” benefit to a man’s sex life. As studies suggest that vitamin C, when eaten in food (not supplements), protects men against prostate cancer.
For men still, strawberries can also be beneficial if they’re hoping for their lovers to get pregnant; they have folic acid which the body uses to create sperm cells. And the chocolate-covered strawberries will set the mood for the romance that’s associated with this dessert such as, endorphins- the, “feel-good” chemicals in the brain.
*Steak- A protein rich meat that naturally boost the level of dopamine and non-epinephrine in the brain (these two chemicals are said to be important when it comes to women’s arousal) as it heightens sensitivity during intercourse. It is also a good aphrodisiac for men.
  • Avocado- Contains the vitamin B6- Some studies have shown that this can decrease symptoms of premenstrual syndrome such as; fatigue, bloating, and irritability thereby, making it easier for ladies to “get in the mood.” It also helps to increase libido in guys. Getting blood to flow to a man’s sex organs means, he needs a healthy, properly functioning heart. Though it’s not the most romantic food to eat on Valentine’s Day, but it can certainly be fun and tasty too.
  • Chilli- Peppers have been known to do everything from reducing inflammation in the body to improving circulation. However, it is believed in some quarters to play a fundamental role in the “other room.” They contain the chemical capsaicin that triggers the release of endorphins which further creates a temporary high. Be careful of overusing it because sweating into Valentine’s Day food is likely to give the opposite effect.
  • Oysters- are considered as aphrodisiac due to their high zinc content, helps to produce sperm and increase sex drive. Of recent, it was found to contain amino acids, a trigger that produces sex hormones.
  • Vanilla- Incorporating this sweet extract into your diet can help make your sex life anything but “vanilla,” research suggests. “Vanilla has historically been eaten, drunk and smelled as an aphrodisiac.” “Science shows that vanilla is the most arousing scent for aging men because it relaxes them and gets the juices flowing.”
  • Eggs- Protein-⁶&⁵__rich eggs can help boost stamina, which makes them a great choice for boosting your libido. “They’re also an excellent source of amino acid and L-arginine, which has been proven effective in treating erectile dysfunction and certain types of heart ailments.”
Make your Valentine’s Day count, indulge your lover in the above food before getting frisky. Restore your libido and spice up your performance as you and your spouse deserve a healthy and active sexual union.
