Star Fuji singer, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, better known by his stage name, K1 De Ultimate, has planned the celebration of the second half of his fifty years of musical performance.

The Fuji master celebrated his landmark on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the DLK Event Centre, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, Ogun State, in partnership with the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN).

Fans of Fuji music as well as other notable musicians in the field showed up in large numbers to the event. The Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos State, is scheduled to host the second stage on August 19, 2022.

One of the most talked-about events in the entertainment world, it will feature notable Fuji icons and fans of his music. It was heard that a few Fuji artists would play at the occasion in honour of the veteran.

K1, one of the most well-known fuji musicians, began his musical career at the age of eight, when he first expressed an interest in music.

Before starting his own band, he initially worked with Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister as his instrument packer to learn the art of Fuji music.

He has since created so much hit music in his 50 years in the business, no social event would be complete without him performing on stage.
