Don Jazzy advises upcoming artists to maximize social media for talent showcasing
Don Jazzy, Nigerian producer and owner of the Marvin record label, has advised young musicians who wish to promote their talent to share videos of themselves on social media.
He made this statement on social media. Some of his signees, he revealed, were active on social media, where he discovered and got in touch with them.
Before some of them became well-known, he released screenshots of their chats in 2019.
In his words:
Dear upcoming artists, from these 3 screenshots you can see that I reached out to Ayra, Boyspyce and Bayanni myself. I won’t have reached out to them if I didn’t see a sample of what they can do on their instagram pages.
For the umpteenth time, showcase yourself on your page. I know it seems uncool to post a lot. But then again you would be an uncool artiste if its only your family that gets to hear your beautiful music till you give up.”

![Davido saw the song [Body], and danced to it; the video was his first one million views on Instagram. And, he called me to come to his house. He made [a] song for me. I told him I don’t have money for [the] video. He gave me money for the video. After then, I made Zanku, and since then it has been blessings upon blessings.](https://allure.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Hnooovnw-Zlatan-Ibile-Biography-660x400.jpg)
