King Sunny Ade, a veteran music icon, has finally agreed to meet his alleged 52-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Ayeni.

In June, Ayeni alleged that the musician is her biological father. 

She stated that she obtained the information from her mother.

The 52-year-old revealed that all of her attempts to contact him had failed, which is why she approached the Human Rights Commission. The commission assisted her in writing to Sunny Ade twice, but he never responded.

Ayeni clarified that she was not contacting him because of his fame or wealth, but to confirm if he was her biological father.

According to Sahara Reports, the revered musician has agreed to a one-on-one meeting with Ayeni, the 52-year-old woman who claims to be his daughter.

Sunny Ade’s lawyer, Donald Ajibola, spoke with an online newspaper on Monday. He told the publication that a meeting with Ayeni would be scheduled when the music icon had some free time.

Ajibola said:

I contacted Ayeni some days ago and told her that I had spoken with Sunny Ade. What I told her was that I spoke with him and he agreed to meet her.

The only thing is that he is too busy and cannot meet her now. It was even difficult for me to meet him. When he has time, he will meet with her.

Ayeni confirmed the meeting by saying she plans to conduct a DNA test.
