Kanye West declares intention to run for president in 2024
Controversial American rapper, Kanye West, has declared his intention to run for president of the United States in 2024.
Recall that the rapper declared his intention to run for president of the United States in 2020. He was unsuccessful to overthrow the Democratic and Republican parties, but he is still fighting.
He confirmed his plans in a video posted on Twitter on Sunday, according to Mirror. He claimed that a far-right commentator, Milo Yiannopoulos, was endorsing his bid.
“This is Milo right here, working on the campaign”, West said.
“I guess it is,” Milo replied before adding, “Thanks, I accept.
The cameraman then asked West, “So you are running?” to which West responded, “Yes.”
“It’s simple because nobody can tell me you should say this or you shouldn’t say that,” the Grammy winner went on.
“It’s just that we’re moving towards the future.”
In the video, West asserted that the former Breitbart News editor has already begun putting the plans into action.
He ran as an independent against Donald Trump, who also announced his desire to run for president again in 2024 after losing the election, and Joe Biden, who won the US presidential election in 2020.
