Unusual Style Unboxed

In the plethora of fashionable personalities in Nigeria, some celebrities stand out. For them, style is all about making a big fashion or artistic statement. With fashion, they go the extra mile, they think out of the box, and come out with exceptional looks on and off the red carpet.

They not only set the trend, they also get a lot of attention. Although their sense of fashion and style, can be wiered sometimes, the uniqueness makes them
attractive and stands them out from other personalities.

Here are some of the celebrities who dresses outside the box.

Denola Grey

One of Nigeria’s most promising actors Denola Adepetun popularly known as Denola Grey, is famous for his enviable dress sense and fashion taste. He is one personality that can never be caught unfresh, or never kill it at all times. Whether he chooses to be the perfect gentleman in a dapper suit, or chooses to go overboard with his looks, like this halter neck top here, Denola Grey has proven beyond any possible doubt that, he knows his style onions.

Swanky Jerry

Celebrity fashion stylist and designer, Jeremiah Ogbodo popularly known as Swanky Jerry, is one to beat in the style department. Swanky sets the trend with his unorthodox and eccentric dress sense, which stands him out from the pack.

Pretty Mike

Lagos Club owner, Eze Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, is one personality that became famous for his fashion choices. Never one to shy away from controversies, his sometimes queer style makes him the centre of attraction anywhere he steps into.

Bayo Oke Lawal

For Bayo Oke Lawal, CEO of Orange Culture, fashion has evolved beyond just clothing, but a source of liberation. He sees style as an expression of self through clothing and not being defined by trend. The designer’s choice of clothing is largely spontaneous, free, colourful, expressive and limitless, all of which are evident in his personal style and runway collection.

Denrele Edun

For Denrele Edun, more is more. From his outfits, the platform shoes that are almost 2 feet tall, to his over-the-top afro hair, there is no moderate version with this guy. He is the real definition of weird and quirky.

Chibueze Iyele “Hermes”

Big Brother Naija season 7 ‘Level Up’ Chibueze Iyele, aka Hermes is currently making headlines for his unique fashion style. Although Hermes came to fame via BBN, his most impressive skill is probably his ability to wear the swerveiest stuff; wacky prints, colours and patterns.
