NEW YEAR’S SEX RESOLUTIONS

January 13,2023
Share:

January 2023 is finally here, the dawn of a new year which is a great time to take stock, revaluate and examine in order to find what needs affirming or in need of adjustments.

This is usually followed with a list of romance/sexual resolutions for the new year and are often written down.

Talking about the New Year’s sex resolutions- whether you’re single, situationship or married; what will you like really to change about your sexual life in 2023?

Here are some sexy hints for your New Year’s 2023 sex resolutions.

With the end of 2022 a number of couples will be turning their minds to New Year’s resolutions and what they intend to achieve in 2023.

Get tested in the new year- Commit more to keeping yourself and lovebird protected especially as most STI (sexually transmitted infections) are asymptomatic. Speak with your doctor about your sex life so that you can be advised on what you should be getting tested for as untreated STDs can affect long term health and it never hurts to get tested.

Try all avenues of dating by widening your dating mindset to include dating apps, social gatherings, clubs and the different groups or platforms for those that are singles. Be aware of your environment and actively make a conscious effort to go out and about.

Mute your electronic devices in the bedroom when spending quality time with your significant other sexually. Your phone rings or beeps for text messages/email. Nothing could be worse as it can be very distracting and not at all sexy. Put your phone on silence or leave it outside the bedroom when going to bed or when you want to have sex.

Prioritize your sexual pleasures- talk about your desires, wants and needs with your spouse. Spend quality time on foreplay, seeing that “a sexual encounter is like a delicious meal. You start with appetizers and champagne. As you progress, pick and choose from the menu what you would like. Take all the time and savour every minute.”

Be romantic and show more affections in your relationship such as little lingering kisses, loving touches, long walks and spontaneous smiles across a crowded room can go a long way to boost your union.

Lube up- at some point during mating, you may need lubrication but having one nearby on the bedside shelf comes in handy (it’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it) especially if applying some lubricant can instantly add a new angle to love making since a little drop can really make all the difference.

Let go of the sexual goals – The goal of sexual activity here is orgasm, just be close, get the good hormones flowing and allow things happen naturally and don’t neglect other things that comes with intimacy. Making out or simply being close and exploring each other’s wants is a great way to discover more about a new lover or to rediscover what originally attracted the two of you in a long term relationship.

Indulge in quality sleep, balance diet and exercise regularly are very vital for improving your sex life. Making intercourse a priority by creating time for it, your love life will automatically improve and the end benefits will be closeness, bonding, the release of good hormones like oxytocin, dopamine and endorphins: boost libido and well-being.

Sex is to be enjoyed, not to be endured!

Let me know what you have resolved to do in 2023 and how you plan to do it by sending an email.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
